Well, last comic was suggestive enought, with Diana giving Dave number and everything, i'd suspect Cookie genuinely thinks he is customer - she knows he is that guy Roger introduced to her, twice, but thats probably irrelevant (adding to cofusion, but probably wont have much effect in future).
Umm, i just realised something, in previous comic Cookie said she smelled her - does that means she also smelled her on Roger few strips ago?
I expect some cat-fight - Cookie obviously is trying to provoke Diana.
Perhaps she want her to be thrown out of college, so she wouldnt spend time with Roger. We know weres does not solve all their problems by morphing and going berserk, they are just as good at the "cloak and dagger" stuff as normal humans.
But Roger might intervene when things start to get ugly, and stop them - Cookie is gonna be annoyed, and Diana "my knight in shining armor"
Also, Maritza announced a while ago she finished scripting this storyline - my soul screams in terror. _________________ R+ D&B!! Mi&Ma! Mrg&A!! R&Di! PSL+++ U+ P+ I++ E++ GN+ AI+
-You can't judge a book by its cover.
-And you can't confuse Dave with a book. For a start, a book's got a spine.
For that matter, why is she suddenly increasingly unbuttoned? (Mind you, not that I'm complaining...)
Off the top of my head, I can think of two reasons:
1. Cookie is about to go were and her mighty bosom cannot be contained;
2. Cookie knows how Diana fights and is preparing in advance. _________________ "Dexam & April" Avatar by Maritza Campos.

She's going to stop Diana from tearing her clothes off by pulling them off first?
Regarding Cookie smelling Diana - smelling her on Roger is probably the logical conclusion, although it's possible that Cookie picked up that particular scent a longer time ago. _________________ Current SAN: 24

Regarding the rock: perhaps Cookie thinks a ranged attack is better than coming close to Diana's claws.
We know the conversation between Dave and Diana was more innocent than it appeared from a distance. However, given that Cookie is a werecoyote, and thus most likely has an excellent sense of hearing, shouldn't she have been able to overhear the conversation?
The lack of buttons on Cookie's shirt is probably just an artistic oversight. It happens.

Possible outcomes:
Catwomen
Diana and Cookie keep their heads cool and just exchange catty quips and put-downs. I would say Cookie has the upper hand here, as Diana is pretty open about her still loving the guy Cookie is currently schtoinking. Diana might retaliate saying what she have just learned from Dave: There's a possibility Roger is with Cookie just to protect Diana from his animalistic rage and/or from a broken heart. The problem with saying that isn't that Cookie would just laugh and dismiss the idea; the problem is that she might already know that, and not care. It could be a part of Joe's "friendship is a human concept" stuff; maybe love is a human thing, too.
Battle without honor or humanity
I really don't think Cookie would attack Diana in the middle of campus in broad daylight. Granted, this *IS* a college where there's a Blue haired student and a student with a tentacle instead of a left arm attending classes, but still, I think Cookie knows a rampaging she-coyote could be a bit too much for the student body and faculty to handle. Besides, there's too many potential allies that could assist Diana (or avenge her, as the case may be) around there. And then there's Roger. If Cookie has even just a little bit of smarts, she'll not jeopardize Roger's allegeance to the pack.
But then again, werecoyotes have been known to let themselves being carried away. And who knows? There's a chance feisty Diana ends up being the one who starts the fight...
Cue "Yakety Sax"
Any of the above scenarios is interrupted by some outrageous event involving the rest of the main cast. Or maybe the supporting cast. We haven't seen "Teletubbie" or Mary Ann in a while... _________________ Xochitica Ye Ihuan Cuicatica

Oookay. I had a couple of scenarios in mind as to how Cookie would engage Di. That was not one of them. I suppose she's trying to blend in as just another college student - not someone who would burst out of their clothes and turn into a wild animal in order to attack another girl...uh, hold on... [edit: Hey, wacko (and Alice) were right; she does look really schoolmistressly in that outfit.]

Probably not, imo. I'd think Cookie knows full well who Dave and Diana are by now, and what their relationship is. (unless Roger has been telling the pack some huge massive colossal lies, it'd be easy to figure out that he has a relatively small and close human social circle, and everyone in it knows everyone else fairly well.) In other words, she's just burning Diana (and burning her, as I'll grudgingly admit, good) right now.

Yep, that's the general spec. That is why Diana is in trouble, and why Roger needs to take the time to explain things better (and is probably also in trouble).
Isn't miscommunication great....

Possibly. Though there is the other possibility of Cookie just losing it and eating Di.

YAY! - uh, yay for the finished strip, not Mackus' soul screaming

You mean that in the "oooh, burn!" sense rather than the "whoosh" sense, right?

Stop pretending innocence and admit it. You're cheering for the soul screaming as well, aren't you? _________________ Current SAN: 24

Yep. I was originally going to say 'tear strips off her', but I didn't think many people would get that saying; and besides which it just might become more literal in one or more strips' time

I know the saying, but I might not have recognised it given the context and the fact that, as you say, it might just be about to become literal...
