Well, now we know what Cookie is up to. I'm guessing Diana is in trouble... |

Um, the perspective on the second panel is... confusing. If cookie is staring at Diana, how can we see both her and them? _________________

It's two panels actually but I used leaves instead of gutter. Sorry if that was confusing...

Hrrmn. Makes sense that she'd be able to smell Diana out, in hindsight. After all, it's not like werecoyote senses have ever done that before...
Mind you, Dave's laservision has a tendency to win in Dave vs wereRoger fights - Cookie might be biting off more than she can swallow, even if Dave has a headache afterwards. _________________ Current SAN: 24

-----Reasons for Cookie to wait for Dave to go away:
-She might know about Dave's lasers. Even if Roger didn't told her about Dave's mutant powers, I'm sure she heard the story of how Joe (thinks he) lost his eyesight. That little anecdote probably warns Cookie not to underestimate Dave.
-Instinct. Predators like to isolate their prey.
-Maybe Cookie doesn't want to go after Diana right away. Maybe she would like to follow Diana home first.
-----Reasons for Cookie not to kill/maim/eat Diana
-She couldn't possibly murder Diana without alienating Roger. She could make it look like an accident, but that's risky, and I think a werecoyote wouldn't find that as satisfying as using her claws and fangs.
-Cookie doesn't have to fight off any rivals, she already won. She's Roger girl now. Instinct might drive Cookie to mark her territory, but she *seems* in control of her instincts (at least, I hope she is).
-Um, she's a popular character? _________________ Xochitica Ye Ihuan Cuicatica

I wouldn't say Cookie is a popular character. How can she be, when we barely even know her?
Apparently Cookie isn't exactly fond of any potential competition for Roger though. Perhaps once Dave leaves, she'll assert her position as alpha female over Diana. I don't know how far she'll go though; Roger probably doesn't want Diana hurt.
It would be ironic if Dave realized what was happening and tried to save Diana, but ran out of power for his lasers because he'd already used them in an instance where Blue didn't need saving. |

^ I think he meant, Diana's a popular character(?) so Cookie shouldn't kill her.
mm.
She probably smelled her on Roger, then tracked her so she could address the situation.
Diana's pretty psychotic. This could get really ugly, REALLY fast.

*Hands DC a Silver Ounce.*
One, please, someplace ringside.
However, the question remains: who is Cookie (if that -is- who it is) stalking? Diana, to take out a potential rival? Dave (for whatever reason)? We don't know yet who she's targeting, so motive is still up in the air. |

Exactly! I'm sorry I wasn't more clear I believe Diana is well-liked around here and I wouldn't want to see her end as werepuppy chow. About Cookie, I think this is the moment in which we'll decide if we like her or not.
She certainly could turn into Diana's personal pain in the neck, same way Jay became Dave's, but maybe Cookie could reveal herself as a different kind of antagonist. After all, women usually handle this sort of disputes differently from men _________________ Xochitica Ye Ihuan Cuicatica

I'm betting that it's Dave that Cookie is after, not Diana. I'm thinking it's probably a revenge mission from Joe; or Cookie is getting annoyed that Dave, during his black-out moments, was harassing Roger about Di. _________________ "Dexam & April" Avatar by Maritza Campos.

Cookie really looks like the "Habanero Cookie" here.
I'm afraid that being popular don't mean Diana is save. No one is save. NoOne! mua ha! ha! ha! |

Habanero Cookie? I like that, it fits her.
We've had several deaths in CRFH, but only Harry's death sticks out as having been permanent so far. |

Right, I forgot about Roger's mom. But there have been a number of impermanent deaths too: Dave, Mike (twice), Brazil, and Dr. Browning (at least once, can't recall if he died in the explosion also).
I wonder exactly how many Dundun goons have died in the comic. More than a few, for sure. |
