In terms of getting rid of the nasties, I've found malwarebytes clears 99% of stuff. The only question is if it damaged your OS install... Confused

What kind of virus was it? I'm pretty sure you can get rid of it from Google.

Uh? From google?

It did a number of really weird things to my computer... constantly changed my keyboard configuration to another country or something, caused memory failures, programs closing unexpectedly on me... lost work three times and I decided that was it Confused Among other things
